Neil deGrasse Tyson has a great podcast / radio talkshow called “StarTalk” . I’d recommend you check it out. It’s a lot more clever than these comics here.
Our lifetime’s a blink compared to the existence of life on this planet. That, in turn, is a blink in the existence of this planet. That’s just a blink in the time of this solar system, which is a blink in the time if this galaxy, which is a blink in time of the known universe, which is nothing compared to time.
So, stop complaining how long you wait in traffic. It’s really not long at all.
its long for us because OUR time is finite.
but so is time, they believe that eventually the universe will stop expanding and will start to recede till it becomes another big bang and the universe will begin anew
but matter and energy will always be.
plus, who cares about a trillion years from now?
i only have about 80.
depending on your view on afterlife, (don’t go into it)
Balls thinking of destruction on an epic scale. Normal, really.
a million year waiting period?
aahhh, but i want to shoot a star now!
Would he shoot the sun if he could?
